With rigorous protocol training and suitablility checks out of the way, it was with a rumble of excitement from Lidiko Lodge's staff as we welcomed South Africa's only remaining monarch, King Zwelinthini, our Zulu King and descendant of the Great King Shaka Zulu. King Zwelinthini stayed at Lidiko Lodge, whilst on an official visit in the area.
King Zwelinithini is easily to the Zulu people what Queen Elizabeth is to England
King Zwelinthini wrote the following comment in our guest book:
